TruFlow version 1.0
advanced coverflow type music browser
by Da MerV

Put the folder "truflow" in your "Games" folder. Your music goes in the "music" folder in the "truflow" folder. Add your cover art to the "music" folder with the same name as your mp3. The program will fetch cover art in the following order:

1. PNG with same name
2. JPG with same name
3. id3 cover art
4. General Album Cover

Due to size limitations, some cover art might not be fetched if the image is too large. When you run TruFlow for the first time, it will index your music folder. All the cover art is copied to the cache folder. If you change your music folder, you must reindex the music folder. To do this, go into the menu and select "Reset cache". The button configuration is as follows:

Cross: plays the selected album, select menu item
Square: stops playing the current song
Circle: pauses/plays the current song
Triangle: displays/closes menu
L/R: play previous/next song
Left/Right: browse albums one by one
Analog nub: scrolls through albums
Up/Down: change selection in menu

There is a slight delay when a song first starts. I have noticed some trouble with mp3's encoded at 320 or higher. If you experience any problems, please notify Da_MerV of the details. I can be found on forums.qj.net or on my website, merv.recoding.net.

Thanks for trying TruFlow
Special thanks to Sakya and Homemister for help with ME.

Update is coming soon!

Here it is, a groove, slightly transformed. Just a bit of a break from the norm...

Anyway here it is, A-Type. To complete the trilogy I have planned, be on the lookout for B-Type and C-Type coming soon to a forum near you.

NOTE: I am NOT upgrading to 4.01 so please don't ask why I didn't release for 4.01, or when I'm going to convert this. If someone is kind enough to convert this theme, then good. Otherwise, downgrade or or you simply cannot use it. Smile Sorry.

AFKIM v3.3.5 - Instant Messaging Client For PSP

Homebrew developer Zx-81 has released a compatibility update to Danzel’s multi-protocol instant messaging client AFKIM, resolving graphical issues present under 4.01 M33 series custom firmware on PSP Slim units. If you have a regular (fat) PSP or are running a previous CFW release, then there is no need to apply this update, according to the author.

AFKIM supports a number of IM protocols, including AIM, ICQ, MSN, GTalk, and Yahoo! Messenger.

  PSP Custom Firmware 4.01 M33

Esteemed homebrew developer Dark_AleX has released PSP custom firmware 4.01 M33. In addition to minor bug fixes, this edition of the M33 firmware series of course brings 4.01 kernel support, complete with multi-language support for Recovery Mode. Instructions can be found in the included readme on how to translate the recovery text to your native language. And no, this release does not include in-XMB recovery or savestate support. As Alek noted last week, those enhancements are still planned but will likely be added in a forthcoming update.

As usual, the firmware update can be applied directly via Network Update if you are running a previous release from 3.80 M33 and onward, or by following the manual installation instructions below, provided that you have a homebrew capable PSP.

Quote:
* Extract the archive. * Copy included UPDATE folder to X:/PSP/GAME
* Place the official firmware 4.01 update EBOOT, named as 401.PBP, in the newly created UPDATE folder
* Begin installation from the Game menu.

If you require a more in-depth installation walkthrough, look here. Additionally, a 4.01 M33 specific 1.5 kernel add-on is due to be released within the next couple days, possibly tonight.

[RELEASE] qubix PSP XMB Theme for 3.90 (You shouldn't have upped to 3.95!)

Read the read me for proper credits! And I forgot to thank undertaxxx for his really shiny photo and game browser loading icons. Smile

Flash0 version for 3.90 only:

CTF ADDED!
http://www.sendspace.com/file/56n03p

Note: If you're new to psp hacking and your custom firmware is 3.95GEN, you will brick while trying to use this theme. I have included integral files such as recovery.prx, which are not cross-compatible. To use this theme, simply downgrade to 3.90.

There will be a 3.95 release soon, methinks.

Oh yea, my first good opening:
